Tips to Change the Drop Shadow Border in Photoshop Screen Mode

As I have written in previously Photoshop tutorial about how to change the color of the screen mode, that feature is also available in Photoshop CS5. And if you want to change the drop shadow border around the picture we are working, you can do it from the Photoshop CS5 preferences menu.

The default screen mode is like this, with drop shadow border.

Here is a tip on how to change it:

Select Edit > Preferences > Interface in Photoshop CS5 menu. You can also do this tip in Photoshop CS4.

Select the Border type (blue mark) as you want. You can select between Drop Shadow, Line or no border at all. Note: the red marked in above picture is to change the screen background.

Here is the example of an image when opened in Photoshop with line border.
