If some how you want to merge those channel again (although this is doesn’t necessary because you still have the original image), there is another steps in Photoshop CS4 for it. Just click on the Channel panel option button again (with all the separated images opened), and then select Merge channels.

Then select the image mode, and click OK.

After that, specify the file for each channel, by default it will be done automatically, and then click OK to confirm.

The image files will be combined again as before, but it is reconstructed in different file.
