On Image Adjustment The Photoshop CS4 Feature
Sponsored LinksI don’t get the exact name of it, I just get this name “On Image Adjustment” on some Photoshop CS4 help file. So I use this name to call this icon.
On Image Adjustment can be found in some adjustment color dialog box, such Curves, Hue/Saturation. This icon is a new feature in Photoshop CS4, available both in Extended or not Extended version. The functionality of this tool is to make an adjustment right to your image by click and drag on it.
For example, in this picture below I am selecting the curves adjustment layer. Location of this icon can be found in red circle I have marked in Adjustment Panel. If you use adjustment color from Image > Adjustment menu, the location can be different.
To use On Image Adjustment
Click on the On Image Adjustment icon, and then click and drag on the image. You can drag up to increase curves value, and drag it down to decrease. In some other adjustment color, such hue/saturation, you can drag it horizontally.
Curves will make an adjustment on the appropriate color. In the same time, on the curves panel, you can see some node already change instantly.
Much more easier to adjust color manually with this tools.
