Photoshop since earlier version has provided some beautiful Styles that are ready to use. Styles is a set of layer style effect that combined into one button. You can access the Styles from Window > Styles. By default it is located in top right of the Photoshop panel/palette.
How To Use Photoshop Styles
Styles can only be applied in an unlocked layer. In this Photoshop tutorial, I will use a custom shape as an example. Select the Custom Shape tool in the Photoshop toolbox, then choose any shape you want in the Option Bar.
I select a butterfly shape as tutorial.
Draw the shape in a new Photoshop file, and then click any of the Styles as you like in the Styles Panel. You can instantly see the butterfly shape is applied with the style you have clicked.
