Layer Panel in Photoshop CS4 Tutorial
Sponsored LinksThe most right is trash icon, this icon can be use to delete a layer. You can delete a layer by click on the layer name then click the Delete icon. Or, you can use the same way when you duplicate a layer (by drag the layer name to this trash icon).
Note: In Photoshop CS4, you can also delete a layer by press Del/Delete key on the keyboard.
When you open another image, you can drag an image from one file to another by using Move tool. This image below is the condition when two images are placed in a same file.
A layer can be made in to transparent; you can do this by lowering the Opacity value. Opacity option is located in top right of Layer panel. By default, the number is 100%.
In the left of Opacity box, you can find the Layer Blending Option. Layer blending can be use to determine how is the pixel of a layer interact with other pixel in the lower layer.
