Lasso Tools Selection-Photoshop Guides for Beginner
Sponsored LinksIn this Photoshop CS4 tutorial, I am writing about a simple guide of how to make selection using Lasso tools. Lasso tool is a basic selection tools, they are Lasso, Polygonal Lasso, and Magnetic Lasso. These tools doesn’t get any improvement since Photoshop 7.0 ( I started using Photoshop since 7.0, I don’t know about version 6 or before ).
How to use Lasso tools to make selection in Photoshop
Lasso
Lasso can be use to make selection in a free shape. This tool is using by click and hold the pointer in to the image. While holding the mouse button, drag the pointer anywhere you want to make the selection.
Be careful when dragging the pointer. It is very hard to make an accurate selection. Don’t releases the mouse button until you reach the starting point. If you release it now, the unfinished selection will looks like this image below.
If you have reached the starting point, you will get the selections done.

magnetic tool is absent in my photoshop cs4,i have lasso tool only
Have you tried clicking on the lasso button and holding for a second? A menu with the other lasso tools should appear for you.
