How to Make Circular Text Effect in Photoshop Tutorials

Type your text, and you will get the text is following the path shape. It will make a circular text because the path is in ellipse shape.

If you want to change the circular text position in this Photoshop tutorial, you can do it by using the Path Selection tool, or more with Direct Selection tool to change the path shape. You can rotate the circular text, and also to move the text inside or outside the ellipse path line.

Step 6
The path line will always visible when you are working with this image file. But if you need to make the path hidden for awhile, you can manage to do this by deselect it. Here is how to deselect your path: Open / show your path panel, and then click on the empty area below the path name.

You will see two paths in there, the first one is your original ellipse path, and the second one is the path that contains your circular text effect.

That is how to make circular text effects in Photoshop CS4. And how about experimenting with another shape? For example like this image below. You can change the text color too for each shape, and each letter if you want.
