GPU Setting for Photoshop CS4
Sponsored LinksPhotoshop CS4 is using the advantage of video card GPU for some of it’s new features. The video card has to be support for OpenGL 2.0 or pixel shader 3. If the video card does not support them, the option for GPU can be enable.
To make sure the GPU setting is enable or not, try to check on Edit > Preference > Performance. As seen in the picture below, I have mark that option in red rectangle.

After that option has enabled, some of the new feature will be available. The list of new feature using GPU performance are:
- Rotate View Tool
- Bird Eye Zooming
- Pixel Grid
- Flick to Scroll preference
- Smooth Pan and Zoom
- Drop Shadow for canvas border
