Change Photoshop Application Background Color

When we use Photoshop, the background application of the working background color are default to be gray. But this is not have to be gray. As we know that surrounding color is affect human perception of the center image.

The image we are working at will be looks different if the surrounding color are different to. Mostly, the big difference is when the surrounding color is black, gray, white, or complex color.

If you need to change the application background color, simply right click on that gray space, and choose the color you want. I use this in Photoshop CS4, but actually this can be done in Photoshop CS3 too.

In this example, I choose custom, and another dialog box will appear. Choose the color you want.

This is the result after I change Photoshop default gray background into white.

Notice any different perception on working image?
