Photoshop tutorial about how to change the background of a photo, this is what I am publishing right now. This is one of the most common things to do for Photoshop user. To make the changing process easier, you should master some of selecting a part of image first. I have posted some of it in the Photoshop tutorials before, I will describe about it later in the next step.
How to change background image from photo using Photoshop
Step 1
Open your photo using Photoshop. I use a photo of baseball player from stock.xchng for this tutorial.

Step 2
This is what I mention in the first paragraph of this tutorial. To change the photo background, we need to separate / extract the photo model from his background. There are so many way in Photoshop which can be use to do this. For example, you can use:
- Selection tool (e.g. Marque, Lasso, Magic wand tool)
- Pen tool (to create path)
- Color Range technique
- Channel
You must make the selection around the baseball player, just like image below. Remember, you can use any selection technique as described above to do this.

Step 3
Open another image or photo which you need to make it as a new background. In this Photoshop tutorial, I use a photo of Harriman Lake Park, Littleton, Colorado from stock.xchn
