Using Brush Color Dynamics
Sponsored LinksOption that available are:
- Off = Will be no control over the color variance of brush
- Fade = Varies the color between the foreground color and the background color in the specified number of strokes
- Pen Pressure, Pen Tilt, Stylus Wheel, Rotation = They suppose to varies the color between the foreground color and the background color based on the pen pressure, pen tilt, position of the pen thumbwheel, or rotation of the pen. I don’t any have them to experiment with.
Below the Option, there are some more dynamics color adjustment. They are:
Hue Jitter
This option can be use to determine hue color of the brush stroke. A lower percentage value will adjust the hue while maintaining a close proximity to the hue of the foreground color. If this value increased, until maximum of this value is 100%, will increases the hues difference.

Saturation Jitter
This option can be use to change saturation color of brush stroke. A small percentage will only change a little saturation different, while large percentage will make the brushes color more desaturated. Saturation Jitter will keep a close proximity to the saturation of the foreground color.

Brightness Jitter
This option is more like Saturation jitter, but this one affect to the brightness of brush color. It is useful to change the color into more black or white.

Purity
Purity can be use to reduce or increase saturation. The different of this option with Saturation jitter is: Purity will affect all of brush stroked color, not maintaining a close proximity to the saturation of the foreground color. At –100%, the color is fully desaturated while at 100%, the color is fully saturated.

On the next post, as part of Using Photoshop CS 4 Brush Guide, I will write about Brush Shape dynamics.
