But how if we need to keep some part of the model so it is not entirely black, for example we need to keep models face visible? Just like this image below.

Maybe in some case, we need to keep the model face is memorable and completely in black color isn’t so nice. To do this, we need to go back in Step 4. Before we make the model layer in to black, we have to duplicate the layer first.

The above layer will be filling with black color, and the lower one is in original color.
Continue with Step 5. And after Step 5, we have to make a layer mask on the above layer (black color model). Layer mask can be made by click on the Add layer mask icon in layer panel.
