Displacement is one of versatile Photoshop ability that useful to blend many kind of image to different surface. The more rough / contrast the surfaces, the more detail the blended art will be. Here is the tutorial. We will try to make graffiti photo effect of USA Flag in a rough brick wall.
Photoshop CS4 Tutorial to make USA Flag Graffiti
Step 1
Prepare two images for the tutorial. I use free royalty photo of Brick Wall from linder6580-stock.xchng,

Step 2
Make the brick photo into black and white, because we only need the texture while the color will be using the flag. We can make it into black and white by select Image > Adjustment > Desaturate.
