How to Make Brush in Photoshop CS4
In this Photoshop tutorial, I will write about how to make your own brush using Photoshop CS4. The step are simple and actually this is similar when you are using older version of Photoshop.
Before we continue on the steps of it, if you planning to share the brushes you created, I am recommend that you are using older Photoshop version to make shareable brush. Because if the brush is made in newer Photoshop version, they won’t be compatible in older one. I used to make brush, and for that I used Photoshop 7.0 to make sure my brushes will compatible in newer Photoshop version.

Rotate View Tool
Rotate view tool is one of new feature in Photoshop CS4. This feature are available only if the computer is supported OpenGL2 or Pixel Shader 3. More about this GPU information was posted in earlier post.
Rotate view can be use to rotate the working image without making adjustment on the image itself. So this is a safer way to preview your image from different angle.

GPU Setting for Photoshop CS4
Photoshop CS4 is using the advantage of video card GPU for some of it’s new features. The video card has to be support for OpenGL 2.0 or pixel shader 3. If the video card does not support them, the option for GPU can be enable.
To make sure the GPU setting is enable or not, try to check on Edit > Preference > Performance. As seen in the picture below, I have mark that option in red rectangle.
